My passion for making a difference arose from the daily battle my country, South Africa, fights with the pandemic of HIV / Aids. The way the world sees those affected and how they are treated has encouraged me to gain more knowledge and take on the challenge of educating those around me.

I am a registered nurse with a number of post graduate courses and certificates on HIV which I have acquired over the past twenty years.

I have nursed, tested and counselled infected and exposed persons.

As a qualified lecturer I have been involved in lecturing on the subject both to students, healthcare professionals and non professionals over the last 10 years.

With the knowlege and experience I have, I hope to make a difference.

I hope to, in a small way, clarify the subject and assist affected, infected and interested parties in stemming the tide, removing the stigma and easing the life of those who are living with the virus.

Let us take hands and play our small part, together….
